Unique Survivor Roles
Summary (a quick, 2-3 sentence summary): With all the talk of potential changes to survivors and the map in general. I thought it might be beneficial to have some survivors spawn in as 'unique' jobs. These jobs could include, but are not limited to: Administrator of the Colony, Weyland-Yutani Research Head, Weyland-Yutani Representative, or perhaps Head of Security.
Benefits (How this will benefit the server and game as a whole): Improved survivor gameplay. More things for the Corporate Liaison to do. Add survivors who may not be fully cooperative with the Marines. Give reasons for survivors to want to stay planetside and not just SSD on the Sulaco.
Details (Description of how you think this would work, the benefits, etc):
These roles could be given objectives and have (secondary) win conditions based on who they were before the colony was overrun. Some of these roles could be 'in league' with the Weyland-Yutani Corporate Liaison and try to cover up Weyland-Yutani's involvement, or the opposite and try to bring it to light. The easiest secondary objectives to give them would be for them to obtain certain items scattered throughout the colony. Research Papers, Blueprints, security footage/records, etc.
In the map's current incarnation these roles would be a bit more limited. But should the "Elevator Colony Z-level" idea go through (even as an alternate map) I could see these roles being beneficial to gameplay and overall enjoyment, especially of survivor roles.
These roles could also start with different, unique gear. This gear could give them an edge in accomplishing their objective, or just general survivability. Weapons for the HoS, Medical Supplies for the Research Head, Covert Gear for the Representative etc.
The roles could also have unique spawn points and IDs which give them access to areas and gear other survivors might not have.
Implementation (Optional, if you have an idea how to implement it): Coding, Mapping Optional.

They dont all have to be fancy. Having janitors, cargo crew, doctors, researchers and security would flesh out the characters. It would make the survors back stories more interesting and give command an idea what to do with them.

Honestly, I don't even care. As long as they spawn with an ID, ANY KIND OF ID so they don't get killed by those turrets on the drop-ship...

This MIGHT be a bit complicated, but here is a list of jobs and roles that a survivor COULD spawn as if Staff want to go into this much Detail. We could stretch these roles out to make a much more intensive Role play experience when marines come in contact with them.

Med-dome - doctor, surgeon, nurse, psychiatrist all work

+1. Due to spawning with Chaplain gear as Survivor, would make sense said sad survivor was some scientist.
