Summary: I propose a change to the layout of the Dropship to allow for better dispersion of Marines, and Aliens, when landing. Right now the current Dropship layout is very cramped, and forces people and xenos into a chock point, this not only makes it harder for Marines to disembark (especially into a combat zone) but also harder for Aliens to get off the ship when its on the Sulaco.
Here's my proposed design mock up.
Benefits: Quicker dispersion of Marines and Aliens from the dropship, harder to pin Aliens down in the ship and easier overall to get out.

Anything that makes dropship camping a less effective tactic is good. +1

Where's the engines? I may be wrong, but is the width bigger than the current dropship? Will it fit in the hangar?
+1 to the concept though

Its just a mock up, overall my suggestion is just to make it far easier to disembark en mass.

You made the double doors into single doors. This makes it HARDER to get in/out.

+1 All it needs is chairs that fit the look. Also it would help a lot with marines and stuff...Also you could add some decorative stuff? I dunno.

I made this. The landing pad for rasputin is 9x18 so I set that as the max map size.

Also, where the hell do I find those diagonal walls like on the front and back of rasputin?

Its nice but the problem is, again, that the exits are too enclosed.
The design should be akin to how the actual dropship is in Aliens, a large opening allowing multiple Marines to disembark with a lot of space to spare. Akin to my mock design

But an area that large is unnecessary. The shutters in the rear of rasputin mk2 also have airlocks so you can get out from there too.

Can't redesign, too much stuff to do across layers.
