Dual Wielded Shotguns can'b Both Be Pumped With Binds
Bug Description: If you put a gyrostab on two shotguns and try to use them akimbo, you'll quickly realize that it's only possible to pump one of them without manually right-clicking or shift-clicking the pertinent shotgun (binds don't work.)
Steps to reproduce:
1. Get two shotguns, one in each hand
2. Shoot both
3. Pump-shotgun with a bind, then switch hands and repeat. Observe it not working on one of the shotguns.

.....yeaaaaa going to say that is a good thing since no one would be dumb enough to try that in a actual combat scenario. And if you would...well you are just a special little snow flake

while technically this could be an appropriate strategy for a gameplay environment in which realism is of lower priority dual wielding has never been handled well in any SS13 server, this is not a bug by simple fact that the game has never been designed to accomodate (let alone encourage) dual wielding of ANY kind, let alone ridiculous combos like 2x pump shotguns.
you may just want to wait on dual wielding till an SS13 server designs mechanics to accomodate it (which is incredibly unlikely considering CM is the ONLY action FOCUSED server to date and dual wielding as a concept is abit more videogamey then the devs here are looking to go for), instead i recommend you either keep your offhand empty just in case or pair it with useful alternatives such as a riot shield, adv trauma patch (the green things in the red medkits) in case of injuries or other potentially useful tools.

SS13 was never intended to be combat oriented, it was intended to be role play oriented. I mean, Apop and the dev team went through the trouble of creating an entirely new game in my opinion. Now, it's about combat, but it's not just about killing everything you see. There's some genuine experiences a player gains out of a scenario or moment with other marines, that's the experience that keeps them around.

I dual wielded shotguns with gyroscopes a few times, even macros won't work, you can only pump the shotgun in your active hand using alt+click, and you need to switch your active hand if you want to pump the other shotgun, this is the only way to pump shotguns when dual wielding, it's really great if you're good with shotguns to begin with.

The server is medium RP, as in act somewhat like you would in real life. A normal marine would not ever duel wield shotguns, this isn't halo and you are not Master Chief.

dude i actually played halo and i sure as hell dont remember dual wield shotguns (i guess the brute shots KIND of counted but they were rare drops anyways)
seriously though, just single wield the shotgun, is it THAT hard to reload them every now and then? just keep a box in a pocket, click it once without releasing the button and drag the mouse over to you and you can reload fast and easy at any time, it isn't that hard.

Ok, i can explain this one easily. Its a side effect of the way the system works. Each object in the game gets assigned an individual HexDec code for which object it is. The pump-shotgun verb simply uses a process that pumps the first shotgun it finds on the target, by order of this list. AFAIK, since the pump shotgun verb doesn't support user setting of the HexDec code, you can't overcome this in anyway. It may be possible for someone with access to the 'View Variables' window to do this, but even then the macros will only work for those two specific shotguns and only for that round. Basic end to this is suck it up, and deal with the slightly slower mouse based macro.

Agreed there is no need to duel wield shotguns. It's totally pointless in all reguard. You want to shoot faster then grab an M41A or SMG.
