Summary (a quick, 2-3 sentence summary): Marines have been known to get notoriously chubby and fat after eating one too many MREs or protein substitute packets. Eating too much at one time doesn't give the system enough time to register the eater's hunger levels, and thus can turn them fat. Most users, however will stop at a point.
Benefits (How this will benefit the server and game as a whole): The benefits will allow realism to be displayed within the game, as the United States Colonial Marine Corps obviously wouldn't have out-of-shape men and women in the line of duty. Those overweight would be slow and would have minor health issues due to that exact reason: being over-weight. The implement would be beneficial, as it would allow marines to stop eating so fast, and to stop when the "unwillingly eating" process occurs.
Details (Description of how you think this would work, the benefits, etc): I believe a three to four second wait period would be ideal as it would allow for the system to catch up with the user's hunger levels and deal the meal's equivalence out equally. The benefits would allow more realism and less penalties based on weight.
Implementation (Optional, if you have an idea how to implement it): Through coding, somehow. I don't know, never was good at coding.

Re: Food Eating Timer
You don't need a timer to avoid fatness when eating. Ignore the hunger bar and only read what it says in chat: if it says that you take a bite normally, keep eating. If it says you force a bite down your throat or whatever, stop.

If you ate food as fast as you do in Colonial Marines, and did that in real life. I bet you would be able to overstuff yourself. Just watch the text.

Re: Food Eating Timer
The issue is that the food isn't metabolized fast enough, and when it is metabolized, you've eaten too much. When you are hungry, you have to eat some, then wait a bit, then try eating some more. Kinda like real life. You don't eat until you aren't full. You eat, and then see if you are still hungry.

I ALWAYS eat one pizza, pasta and pork. This is enough right to be fully satisfied without being chubby.
