Resin Nest

Post by The_Mockingjay_ » 20 Aug 2015, 19:12

Summary (a quick, 2-3 sentence summary):
I think that resin nests should secrete a small amount of a healing chemical such as inaprovaline to the person / living thing buckled into the nest.

Benefits (How this will benefit the server and game as a whole):
I think this would benefit the server because it would help by extending the lives of potential hosts that are dieing.

Details (Description of how you think this would work, the benefits, etc):
If a living thing is buckled into a resin nest it will slowly gain a small amount of inaprovaline (or other healing chemical(s)) to extend the life of the host as long as they are in the nest. In the aliens movie, when the marines entire the facility and come to the nest, the people in the nest should be dead but I think that the resin they are in keeps them alive until chestbursting.

Implementation (Optional, if you have an idea how to implement it):
Add 1unit of inaprovaline (or whatever other healing drug) to the body every X amount of ticks.

No, if xenos slash their hosts, the hosts should die and the xenos shouldn't get their larva. This would be one of the biggest buffs the xenos would get to date because they could slash their prey to crit before dragging them to the nest which they now can not escape because their in hard crit.
I'm stressing way too hard about what to put here, so I'm just gonna leave it blank.... or....

Fuck that for exactly the reasons Biolock said. If xenos want to be dumb enough to slash infected hosts "so they can't escape as easy" and watch as they slowly bleed out, that's their own choice.

Yeah, marines ALREADY not always die in nests while being slashed few times, so no. -1

I actually like spamming dead chat about how dumb Xenos who think 'impaling me while I'm infected is a good idea' are.
