I suspect the people who did that only complained about it as a convenient excuse for why they're marine-only while having no intention of playing alien no matter what happens, but balk at the idea of anything cool actually being given to 'the other team' out of principle.

But in all seriousness, what is the point of complaining about aliens being "faceless" and then when a suggestion that removes this problem shows up, giving it a -1? Hypocritism and counter-productiveness at its finest.

Aliens don't get credit for doing things WELL or just doing cool things recognised by aliens and marines alike.
Like that one time a runner assassinated the CO, or when a hunter snuck into the bridge and slashed the last doctor (me) into crit, but made me slowly bleed out, so that I wasn't dead and technically couldn't be cloned, I wasn't even mad. that's some smart shit.
Aliens need to be recognised for being smart, using tactics, and actually making the round fun for both sides.
