Briefing Dimming Lights

Post by UnknownMurder » 31 Aug 2015, 23:09

Summary (a quick, 2-3 sentence summary): When briefing starts, Commander has the button that will draw attention to himself. Of course, the dimming lights what no one has thought before.

Benefits (How this will benefit the server and game as a whole): Boosted morale and more attention on Commander than marines.

Details (Description of how you think this would work, the benefits, etc): Add a button enabling Commander to dim the lights.

Implementation (Optional, if you have an idea how to implement it): Mapping Skills

so what, a button that would instantly toggle all the lights in the room to off save for one that shines on the commander himself?

it might be viable but you'd get light bleeding in from the west (unless shutters were closed), canteen and sleeper room, im not an expert in regards to how lighting works from a code perspective but i cant imagine it would be much more difficult then having that button simultaneously switch all the lights in that room to on or off at the same time

intriguing enough to be worth at least trying out, +1

I was actually thinking more like a stage light. The only light you would see is at the commander.

Negative. Our current "system" for lighting doesn't support this.
