Distress beacon squad size

Bug Description: It has come to my attention that no matter how many players click the join the response team the game will sometimes decide to simply spawn in one and ONLY one player. This has happened to me before as well as the UCM commando squad not spawning at all.


Steps to reproduce:
1.Call distress beacon
2.Ready up
3.Get 1 PMC despite 8 people joining the team.

Since the rng system was put in I've seen maybe a maximum of three people get selected out of 8-18 people who selected

Personally I'd suggest reverting to the first come first serve system until the pool system is fixed. While not ideal, that one worked.

Yes the pool system is bloody broken. Couple days ago another PMC squad was sent in and out of 10 players a whopping ZERO was selected. It was literately just a supply ship

That's normal. The supply ship is a possible distress beacon and will not spawn people, just supplies.

Not when the annoucement is "This is the US Whatever its called Boarding Any hostile action will be met with lethal force"

Uscss Royce but anyway that glitch was fixed. The rng is just shit with filling the team

Don't know if this was before or after I got spawn in as RT. But yesterday, I was the only RT who spawned, and this was indeed after the changelog said that this issue was potentially fixed.

I have a theory about it..

Right so basically when a DB is forced by a member of staff it will work fine, however if it is called by normal means through the command system in bridge it doesn't work.

This theory will probably need further testing but from what i have seen it could be the cause.

Pretty sure this was fixed in the last day or so.

The ERT calls seem to be working and having around 4 players on them now, compared to before with 0-1 people on it.

A Rt Call about an hour ago from the bridge ( a round ago, currently )didn't work with the squad sizes so it's not fixed.
It might be that it has the mobs spawn in but doesn't allocate a player to them.I believe an staff member was on at the time as well. (bad with names so i've forgotten like a gold fish, sorry!)

No That theory wouldn't work unless just empty mob bodies showed up. If it shows up empty than it is not even loading up any mob bodies
