Surgery bugs

Post by Arachnidnexus » 28 Oct 2015, 21:33

Bug Description:
You can remove bone chips from the skull when performing an alien embryo removal, and the bone chip removal takes priority over embryo removal.

Steps to reproduce:
1. Have a patient with bone chips in his skull and an embryo in his chest
2. Cut ribcage, open it up, use hemostat to perform an alien abortion
3. Begin to remove bone chips from the skull somehow
4. Get confused as doctor prioritizes an impossible surgery over embryo abortion
5. Drink pure ethanol to deal with reality breaking

Bug Description:
Doctors can perform multiple surgeries at the same time with the same surgical tool as long as they don't hand-swap.

Steps to reproduce:
1. Have multiple people who are infected with larvas
2. Put them on roller beds or on tables, click the scalpel on each of them in turn without switching hands
3. Perform 4 incisions at roughly the same time, continue by using the retractor on each patient without switching hands in between, etc.
4. Pull out 4 larvas at once, marvel at your ability to have extra invisible arms
5. Celebrate with space drugs

Pretty sure the 2nd bug will be hard to remove as this is a mechanic used across alot of things in SS13 for keeping the tool in one hand and using it on multiple things at once

Was his skull already open, or did you manage to fix it without even doing anything to the head?
Also, 1 bug per topic please.

You can perform bone chip removal despite not having caused an incision on the skull. I went to perform an embryo removal and somehow managed to use the hemostat to pull bone chips out of his brain through the chest incision.

Fixed, but will be updated much later.
As for multiple surgeries at once, that cannot be fixed without redoing the whole surgery code.
