Bug Description: i can make a marine teleport from one cryo sleeper to the next


Steps to reproduce:
1. take a SSD marine (haven't tried on a awake one) and put him in a sleeper
2. before he's all the way in the sleeper pull away and the sleeper will close but he won't be in it. then put him in another sleeper
3. go back to the original sleeper, open it and he'll teleport from the one he's in, to the one you're opening

you can do this over and over again. i can take a guy, put him in a sleeper half way, pull out and do it with a bunch of sleepers. go back and open each one of those sleepers and he/she will teleport to it

Same thing works with cryo sleepers in the spawn room

Sounds like it shouldn't be a problem as long as you don't intentionally do it. Meh.

I guess you need to stop the sleeper, or what ever device they are being put in, from activating until the body has left the tile. Dont know how that would work coding wise, but that would be my guess at the logic of the problem. You could make it so that if the person moves while loading the body then the action fails.

I suppose the thing to do, would be just eliminate the "wait" time with sleepers.

But does it grant you any tactical advantage whatsoever? I mean it's a bug, but a pretty harmless one compared to the medical bug we recently had, so I'd leave it alone for now?

It might be a harmless bug, but it is still a bug. However, I can see this being a low priority as it has little impact to peoples experience most of the time.

Sleepers are actually pretty robust and are a one way ticket to being flooded with sopoforic, thus being a reason for having the wait to begin with.

Maybe it can just be ignored, since there's really no purpose to exploiting the bug anyway.
