Re: thanksgiving event
Small problem. Thanks giving is tomorrow and even a small thing like this I'm pretty sure wouldn't happen in less than a day

Re: thanksgiving event
It's impossible to do as a server wide event, but a couple skilled admins and a Host/Head could do it effectively by round manipulation.

Re: thanksgiving event
I won't be here for this, as family tradition goes on. So...
I can just say this... I can't see this to happen, creating a Thanksgiving suggestion event the day BEFORE Thanksgiving without giving the developers some time to 'code' and 'program' the equipment on a whim. Story cut short, Developers doesn't have the time to do this. However, the players will roleplay as it's Thanksgiving Day. Just saying.

Just spawn massive amounts of the goose NPC and re-name it Turkey.

Re: thanksgiving event
Isn't this slightly a bit too late? and considering that most of the playerbase are NA as well... I mean there might not even be that many people on at the time.
In-theory we could do the same event that happened last year where there was a feast on the Sulaco with xenos and marines being friendly but.. eh.. i don't know.

Re: thanksgiving event
my canada day event already utilizes something like this.
Canadian soldiers are equipped with redcoats and a one shot shotgun that is renamed musket.
So in theory this should not be hard at all. well except the alien part but we can work around that.
