Change Aleins Weeds to resin 'tile'.

Summary (a quick, 2-3 sentence summary):Replaces Purple Sacks and Aliens Weeds with Resin Node and Resin Floor.

Benefits (How this will benefit the server and game as a whole): Resin Flooring is more asthetically pleasing (and less of an eyesore) than weeds. Also becomes much easier to tell if a floor has resin on it or not. Jives much better with resin buildings. Aliens would be able to tell exactly where they can heal and restore plasma (something that is difficult to do on some flooring types, especially burnt or dirty plating), marines would not have to hunt for the sprite to remove resin as the weeds sprite has lots of gaps.

As you can see here, resin floors stand out a bit better and Resin walls look more like natural extensions of the floor. The blue-green dots or 'berries' above the ghost and walls are a Resin Node, identical to Purple Sacks, they spread resin.

Details (Description of how you think this would work, the benefits, etc): Sprite swap to better unify Xeno architecture. Alien Weeds have always been an eyesore in my opinion and their difficult to see sprite on various kinds of floors had led to lots of Alien deaths as its easy to confuse which floor tiles are just dirty or damage and which tiles actually have weeds. Resin nodes are more subdued than purple sacks.

Implementation (Optional, if you have an idea how to implement it): Getting a hold of Resin Floor and Resin Node sprites and changing them. Weed Laying text would need to be changed slightly to remove the purple sack pulsating to something about the resin node glowing and growing. Optionally, Resin nodes could have a provide a very small amount of light (the tile they occupy and possible the four adjacent tiles.)

Pretty sure the resin floors got changed to weeds because of the eyesore reason already.

I guess its a matter of opinion, I've always seen weeds on this server, tg and paradise both went to resin floors because the communities liked them better and gameplay wise they are easier to identify and click.

Unless you count weeds being hard to see as a camouflage and a buff, I don't get why you'd pick weeds over floors.

Needs a better node sprite for sure. But the floor is nice.

I don't buy the argument that it is difficult to see which tiles have weeds and which do not, but I do like the look of the tiles.

In addition, I would like xenos to be able to patch holes in the floor with a resin tile.

Sometimes it gets tricky to see if the tile you moved a crit xeno has weeds especially if explosions have happened there and people are shooting at you. But I am all for having a weed tile instead of a weed object and I think there was some mention about weed tiles being a goal for future development. I wonder if this will allow removal of the annoying weed attacking spam in the chat log.

Weeds currently blend somewhat with any dark color tile, it's more common on the Prison ship because very few areas on the LV-624 planet map have dark tile and those are in the nexus or engineering. On the prison ship how ever, much of the floor is darker and drabber, especially around the the Xeno spawn. Weeds on that tile are damn near impossible to see, they basically are the same color as the weed sprite. The old weeds on tg before they moved to resin tiles were a bright purple because it stood out against the darker tile, CM's is just a much darker black.

We are working on improvements to the weeds. This is denied for now.
