Well, in all fairness, at the rate some people used to spin in their chairs, I was surprised they didn't get brain damage.

Funny as it is, you KNOW this will cause major problems. We'd have marines getting drunk on duty by spinning their chairs around, then they'll ruin their liver and refuse medical treatment because "muhreen stronk!!!"

If rotate chair > X in Y amount of time. Inflict slight brain damage.

As funny as that would be, I'm not so sure the docs would appreciate the humor. I can see it now, half the entire marine force requiring brain surgery before briefing ends...

As for the suggestion, I'm sure as hell not gonna fix that many livers. How about sedative, or something. Yeeeeeeeeees, we'll sedate marines by spinning them around in chairs. Maybe a built a from scratch dizziness system.

But no, it'd be too harmful to people, and would leave an easy option for griefers to kill.

I dont know if people would like it, but maybe put a small "break" command to chair rotation, so the chair locks up if you try to spin it too much. once the chair "coolsdown" it can be spun again. maybe a +1 command up to 5 spins before the chair locks up for a 10 second reset. I am definitely not a fan of chair spinning, but causing the chair user be knocked out is a little to grief prone system.
