Suggestion-Mining/Cargo

With new R&D site on sulaco ready for duty good idea would be getting some kind of Mining/Cargo to supply research/robotics with materials to advance levels in the sections of research and allow robotics to construct more than arcade circuit board.
It would also make sense for sulaco to have cargo site as it needs to get supplies like food and ammunition and from time to time some metal and glass for engineers so it would still be within rp if anyone would wonder why it should be there, mining on other hand would in rp way would allow those marines which have committed crime ( can have antag marines just like survivors) work on asteroid to recover resources for science and robotics. All could be set into moderate or even heavy rp if anyone wonders and i think this is good idea and upgrade to currently made sulaco.

A mining department would make -no sense- inside a military transport vessel.

While i do agree whit the possibility of a little docking bay for small ship's to transport materials.

Having miners would take away from the marine contingent and would spread things out too much. Instead, the Commander/Logistics Officers should be able to order supplies and should be given resources automatically.
I personally think the armories should be stripped down a little to only include the M41A, the shotgun and the 1911 Pistol and a moderate amount of ammunition. The Commander could then order specialized weaponry (flamethrowers, smartguns, turrets), specialized ammunition for the M41A, medical supplies, food, barricades, and Ripley ACUs.

Logistics should do that, because, you know, is that what logistics do IRL.

well i gave suggestion of those and we can all come with final idea, i have put it up as no one from what i heard in game and in forums did not though about this, also yea i can see that mining could take out purpose of marines at least small docking area for cargo is must do but at least if you can guys if its going to happen add possibility to buy all resources (diamonds,uranium,plasma,etc...) so robotics and science can do something. In end the final idea will end up with us all agreeing to one thing and this is just beginning of brainstorm.

well cargo could be completely different area and ship could come to the top part of hangars as i never seen anything coming from there (i might be wrong but i never seen anything) so we could have station which orders stuff for sulaco and then send those supplies to sulaco.

Cargo Might seem good in a military vessel...If there is a quartermaster.
