Sound Effects for Marines Speaking
Summary (a quick, 2-3 sentence summary): Sounds effects for marines talking, laughing, and so on. Or just talking, at least. Just like the aliens and preds.
Benefits (How this will benefit the server and game as a whole): It would increase immersion, and notify other marines (and possibly hostiles) of friendlies in the vicinity. It would also bring marines closer to the other two species in terms of sounds. And it would just be pretty sweet! Never mistake that bald, male marine from that bald, female marine ever again!
Details (Description of how you think this would work, the benefits, etc): This is a little different from marine death screams suggestion that is already accepted. I think it would be pretty neat to actually hear garbled chatter coming from the marine side whenever someone says something. A few voiced emotes would also be great too, but not required. The idea is that you can't tell exactly what is being said, but it sounds like chatter of some sort. So if another is in vicinity of you, and they're saying something, you have another que to check the chatbox. Here's an example from XCOM, only with garbled radio chatter instead of regular talking. The Sims is another famous example of what I mean.

Implementation (Optional, if you have an idea how to implement it): Not too different from aliens/predators. It's fairly basic stuff with some minor additions in the code. Would require the actual sound files though, which is something that would take the most effort. For the extra coolness, actually having female and male voices be distinct would be really awesome. Just to be clear, not the voice synth. Just a sound effect that plays whenever a human says a thing, probably randomly chosen from a list of sound files An actual word synth would probably kill the server.

We had a voice syntheaizer in pre-alpha times.

If something like this was done, we'd have to have it be something like simlish. Synthesizers are screwy.

Maybe do like the HECU marines from half-life where you can barely understand that.

I miss the New Eden text-to-speech, regardless of how broken it was and let people meta the fuck out of a round hearing speech when the text wasn't visible to them (through walls, while unconscious, deaf, ect...) "Gah, what happened?" being repeated 30 times in a row, I thought apop was doing a bad meme for a while since the speech would play every time someone was shaken to their feet.
As for the simlish itself... I'm on the fence but leaning know. It'd be kinda distracting and briefings would be hell with 30 people waiting to be released to the shuttle harassing the commander and making a constant ruckus of scrambled english in the world's most out of tune chorus.

It might get annoying, but you could make it something you can disable.
That or you can set it that only Squad Leaders and command personal get a radio click whenever they talk, to better get people's attention.

If humans made noise when they screamed, it would alert others to hostiles in the area. Definitely a +1 for me. I was just about to make this exact suggestion.

It would definately help with marines camping the FoB since it'll be so damn noizy no more than a couple people could stay there without losing their minds.

Alien speech noises work because it's a generic hiss sound and thanks to hivemind aliens rarely talk in person anyways. Marines having generic talking sounds would get annoying and spammy real quick, especially if someone decides to abuse it. Actual speech would be nice, but I doubt it is feasible, especially since it's been removed before.
