This is basically what we already have, however it's just that the larva would stay inside the body until a player has occupied it then the player would have X amount of time and then be forcebursted out or they could burst early.

Sure... so long as the Larva has no vision whatsoever because it's in someone's stomach.

Too many times have I seen a larva slaughtered by bursting into a pile of marines. Tactical bursts would be glorious.

Aliens can see people through walls. Larvae can too. That would negate being in the stomach, no?

I'm going with neutral for this reason: what happens if no player is there to control the larva? I'd have to assume it just wouldn't burst, which would be extremely annoying to wait for.

Already explained that in the original suggestion, if no player is there to eject the larvae themselves after X amount of time it is auto-busrted out of the marines just how it happens currently.

Will the burst time be LONGER If there is no player controlling the larva? I like the current burst timer as is, so if that is something that will change I'm staying at neutral. Though, if not I'll change to a +1

If by the final stage of infection there isn't a player inside the larvae then the larvae will be auto-bursted, (How it is now) however if a player jumps into the larvae slot before the alotted final stage of infection then when the final stage of infection is there the larvae has a choice to burst or not.

I'm thinking that the larvae slot would be open for players on the second to last stage of infection.

Honestly this should function similar to how when xenos swallow marines. Instead, have the larva spawn INSIDE the marines stomach, and then possibly give it a burst verb. This should reuse a lot of old code for efficiency.

I really like the idea... I think Paradise and maybe tg have this going for them. Someone just needs to skim their codes on GitHub to find the proper lines, tweak it a little an vualla.
