Larvae Adjustments

Summary (a quick, 2-3 sentence summary):
Have it so when a marine reaches the final stage of infection the larva instead of bursting would be inside of the marine player, and then when the larva decides to activate a verb in the alien tab they can eject themselves out.

On a side note there would probably be a max time of staying in a human and then when that time is reached you would be force ejected if you hadn't already.

Benefits (How this will benefit the server and game as a whole): Gameplay and gets rid of the shock when suddenly you become a larvae in a heated situation which you weren't ready for.

Details (Description of how you think this would work, the benefits, etc):
Basically it would go something like :
1)Marine with last stage of infection when an alien should burst out.
2)Alien players get the option to join as the larvae inside the marine.
3)After joining as the larvae inside the living marine, the Larvae can choose when to burst with a new Larvae verb in the alien tab.
4)If the Larvae doesn't burst out after X amount of time it will be force ejected from the Marine.

Implementation (Optional, if you have an idea how to implement it): Coding and probably quite abit of it.

+1 because if they burst and the player ends up surrounded by marines, they have no time to react. They're boned. And now the xeno player has to wait another ten minutes minimum.

I thought this suggestion meant that the larva would "burst" without having exited the host at all, then I realize you meant the player gets to decide WHEN to burst.

+1 I think it helps any unprepared ghosts sitting in deadchat, without having them spill their ramen in a rush :p.

If this takes too much coding, or lore-breaking, I would suggest an alternative that does the same job, where instead of controlling the larva still inside the host, the player is informed in deadchat instead, with an audio ping, and be given control shortly after.

+1 Would be nice to give larva a chance and to give aliens a small buff that doesn't really hurt marine gameplay in any way.

We should give chestbursters the ability to attack. It probably won't do a whole lot more than a knife but they need to be able to defend themselves.

+1, I think it would be useful. And I believe in very,very,very old bay-code, chestbursters could bite someone para. Anyways, plus one on this, as it could lead too some interstin situations.

A burst larva on the Sulaco is way less of a pain than a Hunter who gets on the Sulaco with huggers, though.

As said by everyone else, this would be great. It might also lead to a scenario in which the larva is captured instead of mercilessly cut in half by a circular saw. +1

+1, reasons stated above. Would be very nice to have implemented, and would make it harder for infected marines to charge the hive alone.

+1, with the addendum that the larva gets some other verbs. Such as cracking the ribs, making noise, and generally enhancing the horror aspect of having an ayylium burst out of your chest. Maybe even get that nice Alien 1 pumping action going.
