Allow Only ONE Distress Beacon
Summary (a quick, 2-3 sentence summary):Ever actually manage to make it to the ship as aliens? Good job, now enjoy 6+ heavily armed mercs along with all the late joins and the bulk of the marine forces that ran off after one assualt! Make so you only get one shot, no response? Too bad.
Benefits (How this will benefit the server and game as a whole):The server is in dire need for balancing that favors aliens. As it stands now unless you heavily damaged the marines before they ran off after losing 3 guys and turned the hanger into a death trap, good luck winning.
Details (Description of how you think this would work, the benefits, etc):Playing aliens currently is nothing but a goddamn exercise in futility. Infinite ammo, guns that do far too much damage, rocket launchers, mines, flame throwers etc. Couple that with aliens made of paper mache and lol.4secondstun.png on top of the nerf to healing on weeds. Hanger defense is one of the easiest ways to win as marines, spam that beacon get some reinforcements and deck out your late-joiners that never get turned off also girders and grilles everywhere you can somehow shoot through with 100% accuracy. One tiny change to stop the utterly broken distress beacon from being another thing marines have in their favor helps the hilariously ignored alien players.
Implementation (Optional, if you have an idea how to implement it): I don't know the exact coding needed, but a 1 and done sounds easy enough. And if you try to send another one the computer insults you.

Are you kidding? Only ERT aliens should be really worried is PMCs, pizza useless, Iron Bears disable part of marines, Mercs are total shit, I never saw they kill more than 3 aliens, you have Xeno ERT, Supply drop is awesome but marines need time to get to it and handle supplies.

1. Distress is only allowed to be activated if marines are on the losing end. (As alien, you already have the advantage)
2. Distress beacon is RNG, so you might still get XRT that favors aliens.
3. It may get no response too. (Not enough ghosts to join)

Only if it was garunteed to be the heaviest infantry with all other ERTs removed.
ERTs are so unreliable and a huge risk to even use, I don't see how you could possible think this warrents a one time use unless you just got wrecked by ERT.

The marine bias on these fourms are hilarious, what isn't hilarious is that the devs are just as in bed with the marines as the players are
Xeno win rate up? When at 3am? The only people I ever hear saying aliens are totally fine or need nerfs are marines who suck balls at baby's first byond game server.
90% of rounds I play as xeno end with getting murdered in the hanger because eletrical grilles and plasteel barricades are far too easy to make, and hey just spam that beacon.

Wait, you mean, only able to call the beacon once? Cause, that's how it works already.
If you send it, and no-one responds then it's reset.
