Squad engineer gloves (being able to disarm mines and fix helmets)

Summary (a quick, 2-3 sentence summary):

A pair of gloves for the squad engineers made to insulate the electricity, for the dissarming mines and proper grip of the tools for fixing helmets

Benefits (How this will benefit the server and game as a whole):

Will improve the how the engineers play in the game by allowing them to dissarm and move mines to other places and by allowing them to use the plastel that they have not only for making mettal barricades / turret frames (using the materials only for defensive purposes) but to fix helmets too.

Details (Description of how you think this would work, the benefits, etc):

The engineer using those will be able to fix damaged helmets with plasteel sheets and a welder.

Implementation (Optional, if you have an idea how to implement it):

No idea.

I didn't know that enginers were able to dissarm mines and fix helmets, can you explain me how they do it?

Why gloves would make people fix helmets?

That doesn't make any sense, and btw, disarming mines will be a GIGANTIC buff to the marines IGNORE THIS PART YOU SAW NOTHING

Those are insulated gloves, only protects from electricity.

Agreed.

Besides we already have insulated gloves. As for helmets, we're not supposed to fix them, because we can get more in a supply drop, but I'd think that if helmet repair was added, you would just welder it.

People will meta fix the helmets when they are not engineers, as well as dissarming mines, they are meant to stop non engineers to do that.

we have gloves already.
multitool + mine disarms it afaik.
screwdriver the vendor open, put helmet in - fixed.

Also it's been mentioned that future research updates might lead to marines getting access to "armor patches" that fix helmets.

Uhh...

You can already disarm mines with a multitool.
Lockie 'Furry' Hughes, your local source of annoyance, medicine and Will. E. Coyote engineering. Mostly medicine. Maybe annoyance.
