scout armour
Summary (a quick, 2-3 sentence summary):light armour that improves movement speed and slot storage, would also allow for machete storage in Armour, less Armour protection though.
Benefits (How this will benefit the server and game as a whole):light marines
Details (Description of how you think this would work, the benefits, etc):a light armour option from the vendors, this would have three storage slots, and be able to hold a machete, it would improve marine movement speed but have drastically reduced armour values
Implementation (Optional, if you have an idea how to implement it):

Re: scout armour
Why would the armor speed you up?
Only way I could see doing this would be to make the regular armor slow you down and make the scout armor not do that.

Re: scout armour
so aparantly, as i was talking with stamos(i think) and a few others last night, the machete can block bullets, perhapse... this could actually be fixed, but i have yet to see it be a super godly murder doom weapon

Re: scout armour
It blocks bullets rarely. And like what I said before, it's not meant to be a great weapon. It's something that is good in certain situations and awful in others.

I'll go with -1 because if Josh did make it normal marine armor slow you down and then scout armor we may have to change all the donors armor on what they would want scout or normal armor.

Re: scout armour
I'm neutral on the idea. I suppose I'd be okay with it coming with the specialist sniper pack, considering a sniper is a sort of scout weapon. Though, if this was done, it should have next to no defence, a speed buff (but not ungodly, you should maybe move as fast as uh...idfk, that pod mech in the secure dome?) so it's quicker than a normal marine, but not faster than a hunting class xeno. I agree, it would be an interesting concept for pointmen and snipers since they kinda forgoe safety since their weapons are either up close, or far away, meaning they rely on the gun knocking the issue down BEFORE it can do it to them.
But then again, as others have said, it could be slightly pointless. I'm neutral here.
