Lockdown Naming Problem

Post by freemysoul » 21 Mar 2016, 05:51

Bug Description: Guess I better point out the obvious mistake on the bridge, the lockdowns are labelled Port and Starboard. It should be Fore and Aft, Aft being engineering/escape and Fore being Bridge/Medical

Steps to reproduce:
1. Restart

This is actually correct, fore and aft are up/down. Whilst this makes sense if the ship was facing the right direction it isn't so it's right of the ship/left.

I don't follow this logic, the directions would always be relative to the front of the ship. The the marines the fore would be the front, they aren't seeing it sideways from top down which makes your explaination entirely ooc and meta.

Mini, I'm not sure if you're agreeing with him or not, but he's correct. The front of the ship is always fore regardless of some arbitrary invisible camera in the sky.

Yep, bridge's fore.
When the voice from the shadows calls you
When the wind whips past your ears
Will you stand when the weight is upon you
Or will you go to your knees in fear?

Shush all of you. This ship always moved in one direction all time every time. I'll fix it.

It's fineeeee, Minijar just hates working, Amrite. Also I can understand from your view point, Given that Direction in Byond is set northwards.
