Not really, the difference between regular gloves and insulated gloves in real life is not that expensive, now, i don't know how much they cost in the CM universe, but they should not be that expensive considering that the M3 armor is made with a lot of really expensive materials. For the suggestion, neutral leaning to -1.

You already have barricades that you can shoot through, stun and damage any xeno that walks into it, and can't be destroyed in a siege without a praetorian (if you're on weeds and safe enough to slash down egrilles, chances are you've already got the base anyways). You need some kind of drawback, and that drawback is getting zapped when you try to lick it.

No I don't approve, if Marines are stupid/incompetent/unlucky enough to run into an electrified grille, I say let them suffer. In the end healing small burns is as easy as applying some ointment that lies around everywhere, even a standard can do that. If you see a grille, you better believe it is electrified. -1
