Rotation of objects

Post by Darkplasmaray » 03 Apr 2016, 10:30

Summary: Could you add some way to rotate objects such as medical computers or lockers.

Benefits: It will add to the roleplay effects of the game, for example, when I am sitting at the medical reception desk and my laptop is facing the wall and not me, so it looks like I'm not doing anything. For the lockers, same kind of idea, instead of opening a locker that's weirdly facing a vending machine, how about it faces you?

Details: For it to work you could use a similiar script as when you flip a table, it flips in the direction you're facing and prior to being before you flip it, the same idea can be used accept when you place things they face you prior to where you are standing at the time.

Gonna be quite some work, though, as that means every object would need FOUR icons, one for each direction.

I dunno, that'd be a lot of work for a small gain.
When the voice from the shadows calls you
When the wind whips past your ears
Will you stand when the weight is upon you
Or will you go to your knees in fear?

It would be nice, but

Yeah, -1 for the reasons stated above, too much work for little to no benefits.

If sprites are available, maybe. For now, denied.
