Another Crusher Suggestion.

Summary (a quick, 2-3 sentence summary): Hallo! It is I! I return with another (Possibly) good suggestion. It is a crusher suggestion (GASP. OVERUSE MUCH? Yes.). But I come with high (low) hopes of solving the crusher salt! This is basically modifying the crusher stomp.

Benefits (How this will benefit the server and game as a whole): I (assume) it will not require a butt-load of work, and it will solve a fair bit of crusher salt. But the good part is. It makes a tiny bit more sense than what we currently have (don't sue me, it probably makes less sense)

Details (Description of how you think this would work, the benefits, etc): So. I'm saying we merge the charge and stomp into one. "WTF do you mean, bad-suggestion-guy?". Well, what I mean is. When a crusher charges, and hits something, there will be a 3x3 or 4x4 (Depending on momentum), stun, which will last around a second less than the current stomp ability. If this unbalances things too much, you can always add more damage to charges! (But might I remind you the horrible salt that will emerge. Back when crushers could gib...Maybe they still can, dunno).

I could hop on this, it's pretty odd to just have an alien stomp his foot and knock out a squad of marines. It'd make more sense, and add more balance to the game. +1.

+1, because it makes more sense like Lorde said, and the charger won't be able to control a group of marines for nearly as long.

+1. Just +1. The stun is ridiculous as fuck. It needs to be changed, nerfed, or otherwise removed. It unbalances crushers by far, especially since they can moonwalk away from any incoming fire.

Sounds like a good idea to me, at least as something to test. Were you thinking that it stomps as soon as it hits something, or when it hits something and stops?

I have this terrible mental image of a Crusher charging through a tablefort and stomping at every barricade it goes through.

When it hits something and stops, (falls over, w/e), it makes the stomp effect.

I Could see this as a good thing I guess. If it falls over when it stomps then it won't be as good because those marines out of range of the stomp could shoot the living hell out of the crusher.+1

buffing the AP could also work, since they used to be the only good counter to crushers. now they do jackshit.

Possibly. But that is for a different suggestion. This one is changing the way crushers work by tweaking with the abilities a bit.
