Crusher Stomp

Summary (a quick, 2-3 sentence summary): Crusher can stomp downed marine

Benefits (How this will benefit the server and game as a whole): More offensive power for the crusher type of alien

Details (Description of how you think this would work, the benefits, etc): I'd like to see a crusher with more power instead of charging>run>heal>repeat. Make the crusher stomp skill deal damage if they use it on top of downed marines. So after they manage to charge someone they can move on top of them to stomp them, will break bone or two and deal high amount of brute damage enough to make the marines downed for good, if they don't get rescued soon the crusher can just drag them away to be hugged back in the nest.

Implementation (Optional, if you have an idea how to implement it): edit the stomp code to add this effect

If they run over a marine,they can crush them,legitimately crush their bones when on ram mode.

Yeah but i've seen too many Crusher strugling to take down a marine after they manage to ram people. Since they have a weak melee attack and the marines can easily escape even if you spam disarm/tackle

+1 This. This would be AWESOME, especially if you could do this with the power of a maximum charge. I would absolutely love this forever.

The crusher is supposed to be an anti-marine defence measure capable of destroing marine fortifications. They are bascially hit,stomp and run.

At least for what I think they.

But the suggestion.....

+1 Seems kind of weird that a stomp strong enough to shake the ground and make nearby marines lose their balance doesn't do anything to the person actually getting stomped ON.

Crushers are still the go-to caste if you want to win. They are powerfull enough.
Just run people over as the rest of us do, jeez.

While it would make sense I don't really want any more crusher buffs, they are pretty formidable as it is.
Instead you could just change his 'slashing' attack to 'stomping' with no change in stats.
e.g. Crusher(69) stomps at the Underpants Marine.

Zero(0) for now. I think its basicly good idea but crushers already extra OP. If their stun will be reworked to be less dangerous (like to be as sentinels spit or so) It'll be very nice addition. Moreover I think this ability should be a chance (50%\50%) but not a permanent one. For example marine may be lucky enough to roll and dodge legs because crusher pretty big or maybe crusher not care much about squishing marines and simply run away, thus leaving big chances on being lightly hit instead of crushed hard.

+1. i do think crushers are a wee bit on the strong side but even so, im fully behind allowing them to crush a marines skull like a grape if the marine is kocked down, under the crusher, and the crusher decides to use his stomp attack. maybe gib the head or pop off all the limbs. That would make me smile and cure the salt from dying.

As much as I love this idea, I don't think crusher buffs at this time are warranted, and the last thing I should get my grubby claws on is a single target murder.

Stomp cooldown decreases with upgrades, and with this a single tackle could cripple a pred with a stomp follow up.

Do you want me to be dunking preds?

+1 as stomps will have to be used either as a stun or a kill follow up, meaning a cocky crusher could get flanked if they use it to kill a marine.

Not really needed, crushers are very tough to take down as it is, but a rusher that can stomp on someone they've already charged through to permanently get them outta the fight ( atleast until cloning )

Now i'm no rocket scientist, but the marine salt would become SO much more real if this happens
