Since ice colony is back, I made a suggestion about the weather thing and I didn't know that you posted it.

Here's my idea for the weather.

Within an hour of a round, there is a chance that a snow storm will happen (45%). If a snowstorm occurs it will only affect the above ground planetside parts of the map. The snowstorm will make everything blurry (as if you were wearing a welding mask) and would shorten your vision about 2-3 tiles. Xenos can see through this. For each following hour, the chance will go up by 10 percent. The snowstorm will end 30-60 minutes after it starts. A snowstorm can only happen two times in a round. Also,this could play during the snowstorm.

Also you get colder two times as fast.
