implementations for the ice colony

Summary (a quick, 2-3 sentence summary): ice colony is goddamn awesome, but we need an atmosphere, its another planet, there should be other aliens, maybe something like mammoths? we need a mist in the whole map, so we can't see where are we going or what we are seeing, is that an alien or a marine?!, add creepy sounds, ice falling, something like that, and the last and not that important, make something like blizzards, neither marines and aliens can get out of contructions, they need to survive the blizzard, then they can get out of contructions

Benefits (How this will benefit the server and game as a whole): it would make the game actually scary

Details (Description of how you think this would work, the benefits, etc): its just a implementation, it doesn't realy benefits anyone

Implementation (Optional, if you have an idea how to implement it): N/A

little note: i know its a mega alpha map, but these are ideas, don't just go screaming at me saying that the map is new and i should't be asking to add stuff, its for the future.

+1 nice idea, maybe we should also put a new mammoth xenomorph and has tier 3 only for late game and name it Hulker.

It could replace the Crusher when it's an Ice Colony round, it has a lower maximium momentum and builds up speed slower, but it has tusks that do even more damage on a charge. Or replace stomp with the ability to impale someone on a tusk.

Holy fuck yes, add a blizzard that forces everyone inside.. make it act a lot like a radiation storm on normal SS13

What I would like are clearer roads or something to make moving between areas a bit easier, at least for LZs.

Double post but the ice roads need to be easier to see, its almost impossible to see them even though they link most of the colony.

+1, force aliens and marines into rooms to battle in extreme close quarters while they wait out storms or give marines time to regroup. I like it.

Blizzards sound cool but you should be able to survive them in makeshift fortifications of some sort , marine tents (eh?) or something.

That would be awesome, and the snowstorm would force more combat in the underground, where its safe. Also xenos should have a lil snow on them or something, same with preds.

Everyone probably expect an Avalanche or Snow Blizzard that is random (Admin unleash) on the round when thing are slow.
But what do I know, my taste is Space Survival where a normal round on SS13 is showers of meteorites.

Honestly, I'd love to replace the random space music with some proper background noises for the area. Wind chills and whistles and all that.. Make it breezy and cold feeling.

+1, especially the weather idea.

It'd be neat if the blizzard/storm can uproot lightsticks and rapidly add more snow over tiles.

What'd also be equally as cool is a visual overlay that clouds your vision until you equip snow goggles.
