Summary (a quick, 2-3 sentence summary):Since you can put stuff on your helmets now, I was thinking it would kind of neat if marines could get an attachment for helmets that could help them see in the dark, like the specialist on some of their roles.
Benefits (How this will benefit the server and game as a whole): Help marines with seeing in the dark, that's about it. Give a cool sprite to the helmet to look cool
Details (Description of how you think this would work, the benefits, etc): Would be able to activate like the night vision mesons, click it on and off on the top left corner. I think it would be neat to have this attachment to the helmet since having the ability to transition between light and night vision would be a cool implementation like the specialist. Would be able to attach it like how marines attach bayonets and stuff on their guns.
Implementation (Optional, if you have an idea how to implement it): Would be included in the vendor at cargo on the Suluco. Probably not too many of it in the vendor, probably the same amount as the machete.
I don't know if anyone will like this suggestion but give me some feedback on how to make this work!

Re: Night Vision Helmet Attatchment
Honestly as a mostly a marine player this is suggestion that seems like another buff to marines that they don't need. Like whistle stated darkness is the xeno's most powerful weapon/tool they have, sort of the reason why all the maps are in complete darkness or are set during the night. So overall giving this a -1 unless you make night vision not that much of an improvement ie grainy/only shades of green or greyscale filters and only improve night sight ranges by a few tiles because the most likely version of NV that would be introduced would be low light NV since its the most likely to stick with retro future vibe of the aliens universe which would leave you with maybe gen 1 night vision equipment like the AN/PVS-2 Starlight scope which was rather bulky and actually required moonlight for use.
so to restate: -1 unless you slap on a lot of hindrances to it, which would make it unlikely to be used by anyone

Also Smart gunners get a headset that gives them vision akin to Mesons and better lowlight vision, worth a check out.

Although it is logical, it would upset the balance. -1

This isn't likely to happen. DS or some other unique roles may spawn with night vision at some point though. Denied.
