Death squad tweak.

Summary (a quick, 2-3 sentence summary): If and when synths are implemented, turn the deathsquad into combat synths. It's a known fact weyland isn't above breaking the law with these things, and it's a deathsquad, it would make sense.

Benefits (How this will benefit the server and game as a whole): Make the DS a bit more dangerous, as well as add a shock moment for marines if they survive, and it's like "Wait..they're synths!?"

Details (Description of how you think this would work, the benefits, etc): Above. If synth code is implemented, make DS synths in their apesuits. I'm fairly certain synths have a brute resistance.

Implementation (Optional, if you have an idea how to implement it): Not a clue.

I like this idea. It would probably make the DS even more resiliant than they already are. Plus, lore wise, it would probably fit.

We don't have synths yet, so it's a little early for this suggestion. Otherwise, sure, why not.

+1 because synths were mentioned

Plus synths would obey orders to the letter, most likely have the least risk of being a liability and wouldn't get PTSD after murdering a full crew.

Combat Synths are a bit dumb and lack the same effective use of cover and some tactics Humans have, but they make up for that by being unquestionably loyal to the company and are very hard to kill.

What I would support, if you want to go the extra mile, is to make every member of the DS a synth with the exception of the Commander who is a Human (ala Resident Evil). The synths speak a language that only they and the commander understand but the Commandar can still speak English.

That change would further emphasise the DS as a cold blooded killing squad but still allow some communication when needed, such as if the DS are to rescue the CL for example.

When or if we get synths, we can probably revisit this. We have neither synths nor the tools to make them right now.
