Summary (a quick, 2-3 sentence summary): Make larvas go auto "hide" after 3 or 5 seconds of not being player controlled, either after they spawn or when a player ghosts
Benefits (How this will benefit the server and game as a whole): Will reduce the amount of larva loose when marines or survivors get free or attack the hive
Details (Description of how you think this would work, the benefits, etc): Is just a small buff that will make the life of the xenos much easier and reduce their death rate a little bit. Humans (marines, survivors, etc.) can still see a hidden larva if they right click so I don't see it as a BIG game breaking mechanic
Is also lore friendly
the Chestburster's proficiency in this regard is limited and the creatures are known to simply prefer hiding until they reach maturity (taken from the alien wiki)
Implementation (Optional, if you have an idea how to implement it): I don't really know about the coding but I think using some sort of critter AI might help

Re: Larva small buff
I remember, we had another suggestion, where person suggested all larvas bursting hidden already. I was against it. This one is much better, I +1 it.

Add Larvas wings so they can fly away to their mother.

As we know, when someone bursts is pretty noticeableJeser wrote:I remember, we had another suggestion, where person suggested all larvas bursting hidden already. I was against it. This one is much better, I +1 it.
That's why I suggested a delay, and that it only happens with SSD larvas

Xenos have the choice of bringing hosts-s/larvae to safe places or risk extinction, and defending those areas.
A worker caste can even build walls around sleeping larvaes or infected monkies, to further hide the young.
Limiting the effects of being lazy is not a good change.
