Alien's last stand
Summary (a quick, 2-3 sentence summary): Buffing aliens so they can charge Sulaco and die gloriosly instead of hiding in shadows, slowly recreating might of their former hive and get raped anyway.
Benefits (How this will benefit the server and game as a whole):It will shorten rounds signifuckly.
Details (Description of how you think this would work, the benefits, etc): So, when the aliens sucked so much what there are only few of them left, they kinda evolve into Ravager (594), and so they are capable of using shuttle and VIP alien skills like spitting, planting weeds, smoking weeds and whatever else. They're also kinda stronger than former themselves. But, their only option is to go on Sulaco and slice as much humans as they can as chestbusters do not chestbust anymore. Also, queen doesn't appear.
Implementation (Optional, if you have an idea how to implement it):NO IDEA, PAL, I AM NOT A CODER.

-1, it's not about buffing the aliens, it's about getting more intelligent players to play as them and utilizing teamwork. There's been plenty of times where the aliens have reached the Sulaco and have taken it completely over.
Also, "signifuckly".

Re: Alien's last stand
I'd like to see the Aliens faction undergo a rework of some degree. To shift them away from huggers and towards subduing and killing targets in close combat.
I think the CQC update will open the door for that.

Re: Alien's last stand
If this ever happens, there has to be a way to get more aliens. Aliens can be strong by themselves, but they can slaughter if they work together. Remove the cooperative aspect and have an alien go rambo, it's going to lose quickly in the same way if CO went ramboing.

Re: Alien's last stand
Aliens have 95% been able to reach Sulaco and rekt marines. They have more than 30 minutes to kill all the marines before they escape and the usual bum rush tactic with superior numbers has always worked.Yung wrote:There's been plenty of times where the aliens have reached the Sulaco and have taken it completely over.
Also, if haven't guess....-1

Re: Alien's last stand
Suffering is part of a marine's life, but this is too much. Aliens don't need nothing but work together to win.

Re: Alien's last stand
I've felt this way for about a year now, and I've made the case for it several times. Aliens could be so much more fun to PLAY and PLAY AGAINST if their entire kit wasn't so hamstrung by instant death, machine gun facehuggers that have hoarded all their combat power.SecretStamos (Joshuu) wrote:I'd like to see the Aliens faction undergo a rework of some degree. I don't know if the CQC update is going to fix that or not, but just knowing someone on the dev team has that goal is very encouraging.

Re: Alien's last stand
TBH, I can't see an alien faction without huggers. It's like bread without butter. Colonial without the Marines. Butthurt without the Marines.
But in reality, I would like to see aliens designed around killing and high-octane hosting, like in the films, rather than outright "hug a million hosts, and sometimes kill a marine if you need to, unless of course you're boarding sulaco"

I don't see a reason for this. Denied.
