Summary (a quick, 2-3 sentence summary): So currently marines can used advanced burn/brute kits, I understand bruise packs and gauze but these are ADVANCED medical equipment.
Benefits (How this will benefit the server and game as a whole): Marines do not steal all the medical supplies from medics or the surrounding area. Adds some balance so marines cannot get hurt a bit, go back, heal themselves then throw themself at the alien menace with abandon.
Details (Description of how you think this would work, the benefits, etc): Add a Marine specific rule dissallowing use of advanced medical devices such as the brute/burn kits.
Implementation (Optional, if you have an idea how to implement it): Just a change of the rules.

It's so pointless of a rule that it isn't worth issuing a warning for then.Wickedtemp wrote:I believe this is already established.

oh sorry, it is just that I have reported this multiple times to mods that are on and they say it was sanctioned.

Re: Marines not bieng able to use advanced medical equipment
I've played for like a year and I've never heard of anyone being warned to not use the advanced burn and brute kits. They're just better bandages. I figured their rarity outside of medic/doctor hands was their main means of balancing them.

Re: Marines not bieng able to use advanced medical equipment
The only difference between the regular burn and brute kits and their advanced counterparts are that the advanced ones heal more damage (Around 20 more I believe). I see no reason to limit this to just medics and doctors. The only benefit that having an advanced kit gives you is that you may actually be able to walk back to get some proper medical attention. If you have internal bleeding, broken bones or missing limbs there is absolutely nothing a marine can do about these, regardless of what version of the brute or burn kit you have.

Re: Marines not bieng able to use advanced medical equipment
necro'd for rule clarity on marines not being able to use advanced medical kits? I thought that only applied to surgery equipment, everything else sounds like fair game if you know what your doing.
Gaze upon me,
for I have wandered deep into the ancient tombs of knowledge to which lie madness and sorrow, cleansing a path for all those who walk behind me...
...
But seriously, does uh, anyone know the way out?!
~Furthermore, I consider that Floodlights should no longer be destroyed.~
