Bug Description: If a marine shoots you with a Flame Bullet, I hope you enjoy that misplaced fire icon. It /never/ goes out, we can even stop drop and roll, nor does a quick swim fix it.


Steps to reproduce:
1.Get shot with a Flame Bullet
2.Be on Fire
3. Cry

No, Apop, I think this is about the bug where the fire stops dealing damage, but the on fire overlay never goes away.

Okay, so. Was this the first time you were on fire that life? When this bug popped up before and I though I fixed it, I discovered it only happened the second time.

I can second that bug, but when you resist it stops dealing damage. Only overlay bug if that helps you at all.

Thirded the bug, i have multiple times been and seen aliens be on fire, get dealt damage, and then either resist it or then pass out and go back up, still have the fire icon and walk around fine (i was once even renamed into Fire Sentinel when i had that on the ice map)

This bug still persists, still see Xenos having a misleading "on fire" overlay where they can't seem to put it out and neither are they taking damage.

If it helps I assume this is due to sprite not properly updating, As resting twice will fix it. Does still seem to happen though. But relatively uncommon.

One week ago. It didn't go away until I was killed. I agree with Suro about improperly updating sprite, because I can bet if you evolve and change your sprite,, fire will be gone.

Not an issue on a marine side, I think. I saw yesterday marine caught on fire, rolled, and fire disappeared. Can't say anything for aliens side.
