Remove/replace revolvers

Post by Perfectian » 31 May 2016, 06:29

Summary (a quick, 2-3 sentence summary): Revolvers are not canon (I'VE CHECKED XENOPEDIA WAHHHHH). We should replace it with combat pistol or something else. Well, we kinda can leave revolver for crew or/and commander, but they are still not in canon USCM standork weapon.

Benefits (How this will benefit the server and game as a whole): Well, if we care for CANOONNNNNONOONNONO so much, why do we still have revolver not mentioned in any alyums colanal mahinahs bullshit?

Details (Description of how you think this would work, the benefits, etc): Well, I kinda described everything I wanted to say up here. Yeah.

Implementation (Optional, if you have an idea how to implement it): Tricks and powder.

And its 2150 now, who's to say the revolvers are not issued to marines now (we know that spearhead revolvers are commonly issued to colonial marshals from the description of one)

Dude, you should see when someone is going Spongebob Neanderthal. Just let him be in his own little world since he does not want to listen to the voice of the reason, or discuss things in polite and non 9 yrs old way.

Revolvers were always part military equipment and still is as of now. Just because it's not mentioned, doesn't mean it shouldn't exist. It'll be like replacing the M41A we have that holds 30 rounds per mag, with 99 rounds, because lore.

I agree the original point had a lot of traction. Making revolvers command-only has some value I believe. I've considered replacing it from time to time.

But Perfectian, you basically derailed your whole thread.
