Summary (a quick, 2-3 sentence summary): Like with xeno abilities, make middle clicking skip all "confirm" boxes and go straight to activating the attachment.

Benefits (How this will benefit the server and game as a whole): Snipers won't ragequit anymore. Plus the selection boxes are from BYOND, thus prone to extreme lagging and many different forms of breaking. Even on lightest server load and assuming nothing goes wrong, it takes twice as long as it should to look up the scope/turn flashlight on/fire grenade launcher.

Details (Description of how you think this would work, the benefits, etc): On middle click, the last used attachment (if the weapon has more than one) is activated instantly, skipping the box. If attachments weren't used yet on this weapon, it activates the first one from the list/brings selection up. Pick one. Straightforward if the weapon has only one attachment.
Perhaps make middle-click toggle burst-fire on weapons without attachments.

Implementation (Optional, if you have an idea how to implement it): Like with xeno abilities, changing to shift-click should be possible - while a broken/lacking middle mouse key can be worked around with software, not everyone knows how to do that.

+1 please dear god, the attachment selection screen is the clunkiest thing right now and makes even shooting grenades a pain in the ass. I can't imagine how snipers are feeling.

You can macro it to any button since it doesn't require anything but a function. I think it would make more sense to put the point to the middle click.

+1 from me, not only is it a general "ease of use" kind of command, it's great for newer players. I only see about 1/8th of marines even use their attachments.

I use passive attachments like the grip, RDS or stocks.

Maybe have this as an option in the setup screen? if people want to have it for attachments or if they want to keep it so that MMB swaps hands?

I am going to change middle click to pointing at things. You can easily macro loading from attachments.

Activate last attachment: middle click.
