Tranquilizer.
Summary (a quick, 2-3 sentence summary):Okay so, I thought of a new way of assasinating aliens. Did I spell that right? Okay doesn't matter. The title reads what i'm trying to say.
Benefits (How this will benefit the server and game as a whole): This will benefit more competitive gameplay against aliens as they have a new update which kinda gives them an advantage but anyways. LETS GET TO IT!
Details (Description of how you think this would work, the benefits, etc):I'm not being butthurt or anything just cause you think I want:
"UMG YOU WANT ALIENS TO BE MORE SHIT? DEFINETLY a -1." or "MARINES HAVE HAD THEIR TIME TO REKT ALIENS, NOW LET THE ALIENS REKT THEM."
Noonononon. What I (for those who are retarded af.) am trying to do is balance but this is just a small update? Right. Okay I don't know. So let's get to the actual details. So tranquilizers, that's sounds weird to use against such acid-blooded creatures. Acid is what their whole body is made of. Okay, so that's stupid of me to suggest right? Nope. Let's get those researchers to do some shit that can stop those acid-blooded creatures. So researcher. Follow my steps
STEPS:
Step 1: Get your dead alien, cut it up and DO NOT put it in the organ machine.
Step 2:Get some needles filled with anesthetics
Step 3: Mix these with the sample blood of the alien, the rest of the parts can be used in the organ machine.
Complete. Now you may give this to a mar- NO! No but first. This will not work with marines, they are not trained to use such weapons. I'm thinking either the Medic or Specialist get this weapon: Needle Gun. Likely medic since the lack of things they get. Lets get them to use, these will then be shot at the alien filled with acid and this Acid TRANQUILIZER will work than a regular Tranquilzier

When that xeno wakes up its gonna wreck anything around it if its anything more than mature.im neutral leaning to -1.If its for killing a xeno then its kinda cheesey eh? just bang one Into a rav/prae/queen and kill them

It's nice in theory but marines'll abuse it to fuck to stun then gun everything.

The problem with this is, the marines can use this on ANY Xeno, and it will stun them for about twenty minutes if you want it to work like regular anesthetic. In that time, the Xeno, no matter how tough, is completely defenceless. The marines just walk up, fire a few shots, maybe a clip if it's a crusher, and bam. All the time the alien used up evolving and becoming stronger? You don't get to use that strength to survive at all. Get stunned, watch as marines fill your unconscious form with bullets. -1, because it's quite literally a "FUCK YOU AND EVERYTHING YOU WORKED FOR" gun that does nothing to marines if it FFs.

Apologies. I didn't explain this through enough. I meant like something Anesthetical. These needles are very limited due to acid blood. The more aliens you kill the more you get these tranquilizers. Make sure you don't hit your friends.

or, you know, could simply slow the xeno down and make them dizzy for a minute or so (random direction moving), no need to knock out anybody at all
also it'd be fairly rare, since ahahahahaha who brings corpses up anyhow

Also if the xeno's hide (for some of them) can deflect BULLETS, how is it going to be punctured by a syringe gun?

What about a gas grenade knocks them out for a short time has to be made from a xeno extract. To make a grenade however would take alot of extract limiting the amount in play

+1. I do think the players should have a way to knock out xenos for study and capture, and this sounds like a great vehicle to carry those thoughts out.
Some extra thoughts: Using dead xeno bodies, the researcher can synthesize a tranquilizer agent that can knock out aliens using a shotgun dart. Yah, i just like the sound of that, it gives marines their own form of evolution as they too begin to understand the enemy they are going against.
Balance points:
- Each xenos gland would produce 5u's of the tranquilizer fluid
- Each shotgun dart holds 15u's of tranquilizer fluid
- Each xenos caste has a threshold needed for the tranquilizer agent to work: teir 1 castes take 1 dart, teir 2 classes take some darts, teir 3 classes would take multiple darts.
- To balance out the amount of darts available marines, the agent can only be synthesized from dead xeno ( or if your really, really lucky live xeno) pheromone glands.
- maybe only certain castes carry the tranquilizer glands such as queens? or maybe the larger castes have larger glands to create more synthetic tranquilizer fluid.
-This rewards the marines for killing a lot of xenos, for taking the time to haul back the corpses, and for the researchers diligence in their work.
- This also allows the ability for the human forces to capture a live xeno, which can greatly aid in the study of how they work, without resorting to cheesy methods.
- The dart wears off after the regent passes through their system maybe? Humans could only keep xenos asleep as long as they kept killing xenos. run out xenos, run out of tranquilizers.

Step 2. Kill helpless xeno.
Step 3. Get more tranquilisers from the body.
Step 4. Repeat.

Well you gotta think, if you miss, you wasted your tranquilizer dart, and there can be a negative feedback loop in place where it takes 3 xeno/1 special xeno to create 1 dart which can knock out 1 small xeno.
