Give doctors the ability to decapitate cadavers on the operating table
Summary (a quick, 2-3 sentence summary): Not sure if this will be shot down since cloning is being removed in the near future but currently a way to revive a marine who lost their head is head attachment, issues arise when people get the head and not the body (I guess this is the better of the two options). So what to do? Well, you have to decapitate a corpse and stitch on this head to said corpse. So this is all normal until you have to remove the head from the replacement body since currently there is no humane/normal way to remove someone's head, so it just becomes a doctor fucking flailing at a corpse with the saw until the head pops off. Which sometimes doesn't happen ie a doctor (with a saw), a CE (with a fire axe), and me (with a saw) were unable to decapitate a corpse with all of us wailing on it.
Benefits (How this will benefit the server and game as a whole): Well this is just a simple quality of life improvement and would make some rp sense since I don't think many doctors would manically just wail on a corpse just to remove someone's head
Details (Description of how you think this would work, the benefits, etc):Again this is only for corpses since I sense this can easily be a tool used for grief, if it applies to any mob
Implementation (Optional, if you have an idea how to implement it):

This really cant work in real life at all. And this also is grounds for doctors decapitating marines by accident sometimes.

Re: Give doctors the ability to decapitate cadavers on the operating table
There is a reason why I put in the word cadaver in this topic. Its meant only for the dead and currently we are in a reality where cloning is a thing and it works off scanning the brain and taking a genetic sample to make said clone. To be honest I think this is way more grounded compared to the other method (which we currently have) since like said you shouldn't see a doctor beating on a corpse just to remove a headTristan63 wrote:-1

+1. There is literally no reason to oppose this; would make life much easier as a doctor.

Have it done via surgical saw, only on corpses. I don't see why not.

EDIT: -1, cloning is going away.
This'll really just complicate the work of the devs.
If it's re-implementing a feature that's just struck off the code and cloning will be removed in a WHILE then I'm fine with that idea.
Otherwise doctors just don't have the time to bother about decapitation (sad).
NEUTRAL

CM was obviously inspired by Starcraft: Ghost opening. At least when marines takes too long to deploy.

Cloning's abolition may be a long time off; re-implementing what was a default, inherent feature shouldn't be problematic.Sarah_U. wrote:-1, cloning is going away.

Re: Give doctors the ability to decapitate cadavers on the operating table
put them on a surgical table and saw, it'll give you the message that you're trying to remove a limb.
if that's not working anymore, sure, +1.

I REQUIRE AN ADMIN TO REMOVE THIS. Found out you can actually saw off heads..... Just not the normal way, You aim for the mouth instead of the head (for some reason)
