Fix Broken Doner Helmet With Fresh Helmet

Summary (a quick, 2-3 sentence summary): My suggestion is simple, combining a working normal Helmet with a broken Doner Helmet should repair the Doner helmet while deleting the fresh Helmet.

Benefits (How this will benefit the server and game as a whole): This would allow Doners to continue to use their Doner Helmet after its been broken.

Details (Description of how you think this would work, the benefits, etc): Hold broken Doner helmet in one hand, hold working helmet in the other, click the Doner helmet with the working normal helmet and they combine.

Spelling aside its disapointing to lose your unique helmet so quickly, especially considering the main tactic to stun marines is via facehuggers.

Also its made worse in that many Donator helmets I've seen cover the face, mine included, meaning if you put the helmet back on until you get another helmet (for protection) and you get facehugged again then your helmet will actually block the facehuggers sprite.

As long as Squad Leader helmets and B18 helmets are included. Once your B18 is broken, that's it. And replacing SL helmets is ridiculous unless you're a replacement leader and the armour is gone.

B18 Helmet repairs would be nice but that's a seperate balance issue, same with the SL Helmet.

I'm offering this suggestion simply because allowing people to repair a broken helmet with another functional helmet would not be a balance issue at all.

Generally this should be fine and as it allows donors to keep wearing their funky headgear without any hazards.

I doubt it would be a balance concern since your exchanging a working helmet to repair your doner helmet. No difference that if you just discared your helmet and started to wear the new helmet.

Not really a balance issue. Just able to keep that KOOL helmet you donated for by repairing it simply with a vanilla helmet.

Apop did say he was working on resin paste which you would get from harvesting aliens, part of the research update I'm assuming.

From what I remember: It was a consumable item that allowed you to repair helmets once and only once. So you can't use resin paste on a helmet twice. Still would be nice to double the life-span on the B18 and Squad Leader helmets.
