Facehuggers die on decap when attached to marine
Summary (a quick, 2-3 sentence summary):
Simple, hugcapping is legitimate, I can't argue with that. However, when facehuggers have a deadly grip on someone's face, and an alien comes up to claw their face while they're unconscious on the floor, it would make sense that they are damaging the facehugger as well.
Benefits (How this will benefit the server and game as a whole):
Xenos won't constantly use the same facehugger and queen will lay more eggs. Queen might actually not rush in like in most of the games I've seen when they're on egg duty. A bit of immursion. Not having one hunter on the Sulaco decapping entire squads of people with one facehugger because they constantly do a hit and run with the nonused ai chamber/eva and then to cryo and attacking people who just started.
Details (Description of how you think this would work, the benefits, etc):
Upon hugcapping, the facehugger dies. SImple.
Reason being, you're clawing away at a marine's face that has been deathly gripped by a facehugger. Facehuggers aren't really sentient enough to really avoid the attacks as what they care about is making YOU preggos.
Implementation (Optional, if you have an idea how to implement it):
On ejecting the facehugger after a decapitation, the facehugger is destroyed.

I did, and i will ask again "What is the point?" i never have seen a alien use the same hugger before, neither have i saw one alien survive on sulaco and repeatedly use the same hugger to stun and then decap someone who was not in a team or guarded by someoneTeDGamer wrote: Read the benefits section

+1.
Lockie 'Furry' Hughes, your local source of annoyance, medicine and Will. E. Coyote engineering. Mostly medicine. Maybe annoyance.

Not really. This has to do with assaulting the marines. They would attack them at the FOB with one single hugger and essentially it will lead to hugcapping spree because once they capped off the head, the alien comes back and they pick it back up. Mind you, it's more than one alien that does this and more than one class.MrJJJ wrote: Then that is more of fault of players for being alone is it not?

Okay thats DEFINITLEY players fault for not shooting the runner/hunter fast enough as it hugs and decaps them, which takes at least 4 seconds or so to doTeDGamer wrote: Not really. Ummm when you have elite hunters decapping in 2 hits, you can't do much. Have you seen the new updates? Even elite runners can cap a marine.
And when they're on the Sulaco, because hunter went all sneaky sneaky onboard, they would reuse the hugger to cap heads of isolated people, generally bridge, medical, and engineers....all the support staff that CANNOT fight back. AND you're blaming them?
Also, this would also stop hunters from going solo on the Sulaco with one or two huggers.

Observe CoronelJones. He's a beast at re-using huggers and making me rage with it. xD
Otherwise, I'll stick to neutral. Yes it's annoying as hell to have them re-use them same hugger all the time but I'd just make it have a slightly lower chance of retrieval, not completly kill it.

CM was obviously inspired by Starcraft: Ghost opening. At least when marines takes too long to deploy.

Re: Facehuggers die on decap when attached to marine
I can happily admit to doing this, then re-using the hugger over and over again. It's just a really good assassination tactic, or killing in general. Just earlier today as an Elite runner I ran around the Sulaco hugger decapping marines, using the same two huggers the entire time until one was killed. I named the surviving one Jerry and still used it on marines with no helmet.
+1, I don't think aliens have the ability to phase their claws through facehuggers.
