Summary: If the Alien Queen is dead for longer than five (or ten) minutes then all living aliens should die and the round ends in a Marine victory.
Benefits: The round will not be forced to drag on for a extra hour for the benefit of two or three living Aliens.
It gets tiring seeing rounds where the admins refuse to just end a round that's clearly over, I feel this mechanic will actually allow a round that's over to end instead of being dragged out. Its not fun for many people when a round that's gone on for three hours to drag on for a extra one or so hours.

Not only is this timeframe insanely small to begin with, (because there's actually a cooldown before a new Queen can spawn) but it's also just a pretty dumb idea in general.
What happens if the Queen dies early on the Sulaco boarding due to a grenade or two? Despite a likely xeno victory, now that's over because marines will meta-rush and target the Queen.
If you want to see more marine victories, then get the marines to stop being cowardly Sir Robin and tell em to stop running away. They lose because they retreat at the slightest opposition.
There was one round (which lasted five hours) because a Queen and Ancient Hivelord were in the Corperate and Robotics domes in a forward nest, fending off marines for almost an hour straight and the marines ALWAYS RAN AWAY. There were literally TWO xenos left in one location, fighting, but marines still ran off and even retreated to the Sulaco.
If a Queen dies and there aren't any drones, this would essentially doom the hive. So instead, if you want shorter rounds, get the marines to actually attack instead of running away whilst shooting behind them.

Have to agree with some points. The timeframe is way too small. But one thing is that the marines will always rush queen. The queen shouldn't even be rushing forward to begin with which is what I feel should be heavily punishable. We had a queen once rush to make a forward nest and ended the round in 15 minutes + a little setup time.
They were jobbanned and I believe it was pushed to be permaed. This should definitely start being a thing, QUEEN PLAY YOUR ROLE. The roar is really meant to be a defense mechanism and nothing else.
I also have to disagree with some points.
The thing is....think about it. Since hugcapping is a legit strategy and EVERY round has hugcapping, what marine wouldn't run? Dude, you saw their heads fly off after a claw came towards the head. YOU WOULD RUN. THAT'S FUCKING RP. EVEN IF YOU ARE A MARINE. I feel like you want RP to die in a way with that suggestion. Not all marines are tough as nails and full of grit, they have different personalities.
WE CAN'T ATTACK. WE CAN'T RUSH CAVES EARLY. THAT"S THE RULE. I feel like you want marine to break rules with your suggestion. If we're constnatly pressured by the aliens, how can we attack? If you see your friends being chopped left and right would you rush in with a squad to attack when you can't even defend yourself? How does that make any logical sense?

I will +1 if this is actually higher than queens's timeframe.

Five minutes is a bit on the lower side, ten to fifteen is more apt. Its not the number I'm concerned about but its the concept of ending the round if the Queen's dead for a X amount of time.

Still supporting this suggestion. There are times when the round will just drag on and on when one larva keeps reappearing at the last moment to keep delaying the round.

-1. I dunno, I kind of like the necessity to kill all the xeno's. Marines, even with heavy rp, retreat at the first sign of failure, trap everything along the way, and then turtle up in their little turtle club. Wait for aliens to eventually get on the shuttle and then grenade spam the shit out of it. What i want to see is a solid reason for the marines to DESIRE killing off the aliens. As it stands they just wait around generally chilling in large numbers on the ship after one or two marines get lost on the planet. Aliens will run back to planet if they can or the ones that are left will try to grow. marines will get ballsy again and send like 3-4 marines down....they get killed and the marines now wait for the aliens again so they can grenade spam them or they just call the shuttle irregardless of the fact that it's considered a minor alien victory or they may literally outnumber the xenos by 10 or even 15 to 1, that part seems meaningless, they just want to stay alive and don't care if the game says they had a minor loss. I tend to hear marines screaming in ooc afterwards of what a victory this is. So I just see this as an issue of goals. Marines goals as I see it are to abuse when the shuttle lands. straight up. that is the killbox most often and running from a grenade in that ship is almost pointless when marines surround all sides.

This seems pretty unfair to the aliens and also isn't lore friendly. Denied.
