Add MedHUD Style Plasma/Health Bar Displays for Xenos

Post by Surrealistik » 21 Jun 2016, 13:44

Summary (a quick, 2-3 sentence summary):

Xenos will be able to see health and plasma levels for themselves and other Xenos at a glance via two overhead bars indicating them, not unlike those displayed for Marine MedHUDs. They are able to have this exacting knowledge of their sister Xenos due to the collective nature of the Hivemind.

Benefits (How this will benefit the server and game as a whole):

Improves the Queen's ability to direct her forces during an assault, lets aliens know which xenos need the most help, whether Recovery pheromones would be more useful, which xenos might need plasma donations, and improves Alien coordination in general.

Details (Description of how you think this would work, the benefits, etc):

Per the Summary; Xenos see two MedHUD style bars displaying the health and plasma levels for all Xenos.

Implementation (Optional, if you have an idea how to implement it):

Adaptation of MedHUD code.
Sur 'Druglord' Lahzar; Field Engineer, Perpetually Understaffed and Exasperated CMO/Doctor/Researcher
Bando 'Baldboi' Badderson; PFC, Five foot ten of pure bald glory.

If we add an alt med hud function, the queen can make notes on who's who too.

Instead of medical notes, you can have Psychic mark.
A way for the queen to designate nicknames or jobs to individuals instead of shouting into a crowd of numbers.

+1 regardless.
Xeno coord could use work.

This would be too resource intensive. Also, way too gamey.
