Summary (a quick, 2-3 sentence summary): Add a button that acts like the Follow Xeno button in the Ghost tab but instead only follows live marines.

Benefits (How this will benefit the server and game as a whole): It will help when there are few marines and a lot of them are dead and you don't want to go through the entire list to find a single guy.

Details (Description of how you think this would work, the benefits, etc): Add a verb that pops up a menu showing only life marines that you can follow.

Implementation (Optional, if you have an idea how to implement it): N/A

I'd actually make categories in the follow menu.
Ghost - Dead (Bodies) - Xeno - Marine - Mob (Others)

Otherwise +1
CM was obviously inspired by Starcraft: Ghost opening. At least when marines takes too long to deploy.

+1 honestly, the ghost system needs a little bit more work. its workable as it is currently but just having that change would bring such a massive QOL buff. +1 to the filter button as well. i'd also like to exclude certain mobs if possible ( the dead npc colonists/animals)

It would be nice if every Marine had a little tag next to their name stating their rank.

So a example could be...

Specialist Alan Bentway
Standard John Smith
Commander Boss McBossFace

the one problem(or benefit?) of having ranks before names is that ss13 would organize the names by rank blocks. could be good, could be bad. im guessing it would be more on the good side.

I give it a +1 but am a tad neutral also, keep in mind for xenos might be power gaming after say the queen dies to see maybe marine Tab to see there's only 15 marines left, that queen or any previous xenos make use of that info to amount assaults. Even worse might even encourage them when there's roughly five-Ish xenos to continue to run around the map with 20+ marines. Though I see it to be helpful as a ghost to guess how many humans are alive, though I fear it may
may be used for major power gaming or maybe ending rounds faster which is good.
