Summary (a quick, 2-3 sentence summary):
Allow for the making of blast doors.
Benefits (How this will benefit the server and game as a whole):
If you're rebuilding engineering or adding a space airlock (because), you do need to make sure it's safe.
Not only would blast doors allow for Sulaco defences and security to increase, but it would also allow for opportunity to build better defence systems on the ground or repair damages done to existing installations to a degree.
Details (Description of how you think this would work, the benefits, etc):
(OPTIONAL: Allow for blast door assemblies to be built over normal doors)
First thing first, requires 5 plasteel sheet to complete.
Why 5 when you can't see through them? Because they're not meant to be spammed.
How to build (Regular airlock way):
A player goes inside the airlock menu, choose the blast door conveniently separated from the rest with an empty line for convenience (Or not, I'm not a dev), wrench it in place, add 5 plasteel sheets, add the wiring, add the airlock electronic, add a signaler and screwdriver the assembly complete. The blast door is open by default.
How to use it:
When an assembly is added to the blast door it allows for the door to open and close when triggered.
Implementation (Optional, if you have an idea how to implement it):
I'd recommend copying an existing door and just transforming the end result into a blastdoor like it already does to my knowledge(?)
PS: I know there might be some problems with the suggestion, but the main idea is to have a method to make player-made blast doors. If a new blast door needs to be made that's less performing than the map-generated ones so be it.

Blast Door (Airlock Assembly)
CM was obviously inspired by Starcraft: Ghost opening. At least when marines takes too long to deploy.

Re: Blast Door (Airlock Assembly)
This should probably belong with the other topic. Also, probably never happening since blast doors aren't actually doors.
