Add 5 instead of 3 survivors

Summary (a quick, 2-3 sentence summary): Sometimes its impossible to play as survivor because how many people try to play as survivor too, adding more slots would make the game more fun and not just a murderbone in the start of the round, would stop runners from rushing to the survivors without any damn huggers and add a chance to survivors hold a stronghold against the xenos, in my perspective, i don't think just 3 people in an entire colony would be the last survivors from it, the only problem i see with this is survivors meta-rushing the hive to kill the queen in first sight, but there's a rule about not going rambo, so i don't think that is a problem

Benefits (How this will benefit the server and game as a whole): The main reason i want this to happen is because too many good RPers and robust survivors don't get a chance to play as one, making some baldies get their spot as survivors, and that isn't very good, as much as i like new players, you guys gotta agree, losing as survivor is kinda sad, you could have many possibilities, talking with the CL, attacking the USCM, playing with Yautjas, and doing FOBs

Details (Description of how you think this would work, the benefits, etc) We would see our fella axe- i mean Tyler being a robust fuck, who doesn't want to see that

Implementation (Optional, if you have an idea how to implement it): Not hard coding

I see three survivor rounds go fine as is.
The fact that if their was five, it would be impossible for the early xenos to get ahold of them, unless they were significantly scattered.

dude, if you want to skip survivors, you can do, its not that there are several monkeys and fauna scattered around, i don't think 5 more hosts would make diference in the hive comparing to the 10+ monkeys in the florest you can get, you just need huggers and time, i don't even think survivors will bother you if ya bother them

Yes, but normally the aliens make it priority to get Survivors, from personal experience.

Tristan, you can say over and over that three survivors is great and whatnot, but with most survivor rounds almost NO ONE survives. I was in a round a bit ago where me and the other two survivors tried to hold LOWER engineering, not all of it but just one SMALL part. Even with that we were ALL hugged and captured by ONE runner. We were all armed aswell. I'm giving this a +1 since it will stop the rushing of survivors early game. They probably still will rush since 3 hunters could easily take 5 civilians, but it will lesson it atleast.

and that's stupid, i don't see any reason to get survivors, you got way more monkeys than survivors to gather, you can even plan to get monkeys for hosts and then do a raid instead of going ape-shit without huggers to the survivors, its easy to get 5 survivors down, get a queen and a bunch of huggers, you're done, but why would you even bother with them? they are dangerous and if the queen dies everything goes down, overall there is no reason for xenos to be hunting survivors, if they got killed its their fault for being stupid and not waiting for more xenos to come with them, you got a lot of time in hands, rushing to the start won't make a diference

What im getting at is it should be harder for the survivors to actually survive, because having 5 humans all armed with some sort of weapon and cramped in nexus security would be a cakewalk for the survivors, even if the aliens did use the vents.

not everyone has intentions to go in the armory, some choice to get in the crashed ship, others to fix engineering, or some even build a cave FOB, for me, i like to get weapons and secure the temple, as i'm not a complete idiot to stay in the armory and wait for the xenos to come out, not everyone has the same ideas as you dude, you gotta know that a lot of baldies are playing as survivors and taking the slot of good players, i don't play as survivor for MONTHS just because there is so many people trying to play as one too, adding more slots would make everyone happy, if you don't want to die for a survivor, just don't get close, or take a lone survivor instead of getting in a group of them, spitters pretty much end your group, hunters pounce on you and you're done, basically its not end-game for the runners and hunters, its just a little buff for the survivors

What if opening two more slots adds two more baldies?
And my idea of a good survivor holdout area is getting the plasma miner, the PPSH and making intricate tunnels in the caves while having only one way in.
I'd probably die before then though

RNG is indeed a bitch, but i think from 5 survivors at least one gotta be good, i mostly guide the baldies to help me or die trying, you just need to be quick if you want to do your plan, run to the crashed ship, get the PPSH, run to the mining area, get the plasma cutter and vuala, one more thing, you should get the into the miner's holdout for the metals, if you want to be alone or with someone else its up to you to decide, usually you got a lot of time until all the xenos evolves and start hunting for survivors

Once again, the survivor ratio is adjusted and it also depends on the game mode. In other words, this already exists pending map rotation. Resolved.
