Remove General Access To M41A AP Rounds

Summary: Remove M41A AP rounds from the equipment vendors in the equipment room.

Benefits: Armour Piercing ammo is a medics nightmare to deal with. AP rounds deal a little more damage (maybe 5 points more damage than the base amount) and have a little amount more armour penetration (which I can't tell if it does anything at all to Aliens) but at the cost that 95% of the time a hit on a fellow Marines is will cause a fracture and maybe even organ damage.

Standards are not competent enough to hold the barrel of their rifle in the correct direction let alone to wield ammo that can throw someone out into medbay for half an hour if not longer. Personally a few rounds ago I ended up half dead to a single AP round as the only Combat Medic on the entire front line, resulting in a lot of Marines dying or otherwise being more screwed over since I could not help them.

I would suggest keeping AP ammo as a ERT thing or to throw Specs/SL's a few mags, otherwise AP ammo has too many drawbacks.

They deal less damage.

Irrespective they're far more likely to screw over a Marine when hit, and everyone rushes to take them.

+1 to this. Have them in the secure armoury. Once the marines encounter T3s then they can get busted out, and handed to competent Marine players. Rather than every noob rushing to grab them at round start, thinking they're more powerful.

This isn't the problem with AP rounds, nor do they do more damage. The damage formula in the game is wrong and will be fixed soon. Also, duplicate.
