Force Xenos to Ghost as Queen

Post by Sancronis » 15 Aug 2016, 22:21

Summary (a quick, 2-3 sentence summary): I'm sure any queen has had the problem of the lesser xenos who are meant to have to obey your orders, ignoring what you tell them to do and dying when ramboing and weakening the hive. I would suggest that the queen can force disobedient xenomorphs to ghost and be replaced with other players who would hopefully obey her orders.

Benefits (How this will benefit the server and game as a whole): This would enforce rule 1 within needing admin help and it would have xenomorphs not thinking that they can easily ignore the queen.

Details (Description of how you think this would work, the benefits, etc): This would most likely be via a verb for the queen that allows her to punish sisters. Those that are ghosted would not have the normal three hundred second wait. If the queen is found to abuse this, there would be trouble with admins, of course.

Implementation (Optional, if you have an idea how to implement it): I confess that I'm not experienced with code but I imagine it would be via the addition of a new verb.

-1 griefer queens and inexperienced queens will ruin this for the whole bunch I think (at least in it's current form which is just the ability to ghost, maybe other ideas will convince me)

I can see the salt from here. A system is needed for the queen to physically control her hive, but this is not it. -1
I'm stressing way too hard about what to put here, so I'm just gonna leave it blank.... or....

If you have a problem, as the queen, with your hive then you can ahelp it.

If mods/admins notice there is a serious problem and that player has no intention to stop then we can replace their consciousness with someone else or make them explode. Whatever the queen prefers.

-1. If Marines can't forcefully ghost their insubordinate underlings, Xenos should not be able to either.

Marines have MPs to regulate them. Aliens have nothing whatsoever in the way of punishment.

The Aliens do need something to regulate themselves with, but this is not the way it should be gone about. -1.

Too easy to be used for grief/trolling. Lack of support.

As stated, this is too easy to grief and generally act like a dick with. Good idea in theory though; the queen should have more control over the hive, but the nitty gritty needs a lot of thought.
