This will solve some of the "symptoms" caused by friendly fire, this is also something good that can be implemented with the future removal of clonning and will add a bit of realism to the game. For aliens, some castes that depend a lot on plasma like hivelords, queens, drones and sentinels, will get a boost on their plasma regeneration while they are doing things like building the hive (hivelord, drones and queen), laying eggs (queen), defending the hive by spitting (praetorians, boilers, sentinels and spitters) and it will also boost the health regenerations of aliens that are very injured and want to return to the battlefield as soon as they can.

For aliens, it's self explanatory the details.
For humans, sleeping will only heal organ damage and fractured bones ONLY if they are sleeping on a bed while properly feed and they have no brute, burn or toxin damage (if they were properly treated by a medic prior to sleep) or some of their organs are producing too much pain (some organ is too damaged). Sleeping won't heal broken bones and it won't remove bone chips from the head or chest, sleeping also won't heal organs that are too damaged, per example, organs that have more than 10-15 damage won't be healed by sleeping, and it won't also mend collapsed lungs.
Also, humans won't be able to sleep if they are on high alert (they were injured recently, shooting recently, or if they saw something that scared them, like other people being hurt) but, this can be fixed if they get some pills of sleep toxin from medbay, or even anesthetics from the medical vendors.
Implementation (Optional, if you have an idea how to implement it):
Should not be too hard to code, what can be hard to implement is the "high alert" status.

Im on the fence. It'd be nice if sleeping gave you a little better healing rate, but i wouldnt say anything crazy would be good.

+1 for healing fractures ONLY if it's splinted because nobody wants to go to the Sulaco because a young runner had RNG on their side and slashed you once in the head.
Other than that, if it had tricord healing rates then it'd be fine but nothing over the top that could fix fractures in less than a minute.

You already heal as a human when you sleep, because you are resting. Aliens heal from weeds, sleep or no sleep, so I don't think this is needed. Aside from that, aliens don't heal from sleep from what I know. Denied.
