Summary (a quick, 2-3 sentence summary): Ranks such as these assure, and do Briefing and control the acts of certain Squads.

Benefits (How this will benefit the server and game as a whole): Squads would be more organised. They wouldn't have to wait the long time to get briefed, and could act as ground/sulaco radio operators.

Details (Description of how you think this would work, the benefits, etc): So, the W1-W2-W3 is a Marine Rank, the surname for it is Warrant Officer, or commonly known as "Drill Sargent". But they're not your common Drill sergeants, they're your head to toe Ensign, or so known as a Young Officer. They don't have much command in the Command Staff, but they are briefed as much as a BO. Their job is fairly simple, keep the Squads organised, have them briefed at all times, and always sit-rep on what's happening on the ground side with the squad. Mostly staying out of action of course. They're also those who tell Command of what squads are out of stock, and/or can plan with the Command Staff for further attacks.

(EDIT): If the SL dies he can take command, but not engage, unless allowed to by Command Staff.

Eeeh. This is pretty much what the BO's are there for. I'd imagine there'd be a lot of overlap and confusion.
