Summary (a quick, 2-3 sentence summary): Personally the hand chewing thing in my opinion could use a change, instead of dealing a shitty amount of damage to you, have it progressively remove the cuffs, It would be better for the marines this way so they had a slightly easier chance of escaping and aliens dont have to deal with a marine chewing itself to 'death.
Benefits (How this will benefit the server and game as a whole): Marines can escape cuffs in nest making it much better in my opinion for the 'escape' possibility.
Details (Description of how you think this would work, the benefits, etc): Everytime you chew, have a chance to remove the cuffs whilst doing minimal damage to yourself seeming that it would make you miss the cuffs and take a chunk out of your hand.

Hell, just have it attack the cuffs slowly w/o damaging your hands. Makes no sense that you'd take a chunk out of your hand while aiming for the cuffs.
