Summary (a quick, 2-3 sentence summary):It is really strange that the medical hud, can notice an alien parasite
Benefits (How this will benefit the server and game as a whole):honestly this can easily open up several rp scenarios during first contact
Details (Description of how you think this would work, the benefits, etc): I was asked a question, yesterday (I believe), on how he should react to the chestburster hud icon on first contact and it is a strange question that really relies on multiple factors. The Aliens are meant to be (well for a lack of a better term...) alien, they should be strange but for some reason the marines are able to notice one of their most vulnerable states and stomp it down before the marines even know what is happening on the colony. The major issue is there is no other trigger besides being hugged, there are no false positives, its 100% right all the time. This is meant to remove the temptation to meta, since fact is if you get hugged, you will freak out but the thing that changes is how will the medic react to it, now that they are blind to this threat (like everyone else). This is where the rp can occur.
Implementation (Optional, if you have an idea how to implement it):

I think it is unfair to expect people to RP out something that will instantly kill them.
Anyone who chooses to RP out a facehugger runs the risk of instantly dying. It's like asking aliens to RP mines and run into them since "YOU DONT KNOW WHAT THEY ARE!!"

Re: The removal of the burster status from medical huds
I ignore medics when they tell me there's something inside me all the time, passing it off as extreme hunger, something I ate, some other unrelated sickness, or just a graphical bug for their HUD.
Only to begin convulsing violently on the floor moments later, which I then pass off as something else, this happens a few more times before I find myself conversating with my SL in our FOB and WHAM, chestburster.

I think its vital simply so you can tell dumbfuck mc PFC that hes fucking infected and needs to go up on the rasp instead of running around and bursting in some dark corner.
However you could have it be delayed detection on medhud compared to trusty handscanner (Which i imagine gets a lot more detailed information)

Re: The removal of the burster status from medical huds
Maybe some editing of the medhud might be useful.
For instance, removing the larva alert from the medhud and replacing it with a more generic ALERT icon (probably an exclamation point or somethin), and to make it more harder to meta, make it so that it also appears when a player suffers broken bones or internal damage. That way, the only way to find out about an infection is to have them scanned on the ship, since the hud can't pinpoint just what is wrong with a marine at a glance, but at the same time still alert doctors to something that is wrong in a subtle manner.
